Fijian Import & Export Co. Inc., based in Hayward, Calif., is recalling approximately 127 pounds of ready-to-eat meat pie products imported from Australia that were not presented for import reinspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The issue was identified during routine FSIS surveillance activities of imported products, which revealed that the meat pies were not submitted for FSIS import reinspection upon entry into the United States. The recalled products were imported on or around May 1, 2025, and shipped to Rutter’s convenience store locations in Pennsylvania.

FSIS is concerned that some products may remain in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers.

Recalled products:

• 5.6-oz. plastic packages containing “FOUR ‘N TWENTY TRAVELLER PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PASTRY” with a use-by date of “AUG 20 2025” printed on the back of the packaging.
• The products subject to recall bear the Australia establishment number “265” inside the Australia inspection mark on the plastic packaging.
